Latinx painter and native New Yorker, Jen Angulo Salguero works in various combinations of acrylic paint, oil pastel, and collage on canvas, wood, and paper. Her work is informed by her childhood in New York’s Rockaway Beach, magical realism, US intervention in Latin America, memory versus mythology, and her dark sense of humor.
